On Monday, April 8, 2024 the UConn Men's Basketball Team won a national title and within four business days The Hartford Business Improvement District produced a victory parade and rally that brought 60,000 people to downtown Hartford.

We coordinated and executed all aspects of the parade working with the Governor's Office, UConn Athletics, City Special Event Staff, Laura Soll PR, HPD, DPW, Capitol State Police, HFD, MDC, Capitol Building staff, XL Center staff, Hartford Parking Authority, several outside vendors/contractors, and 43 marching contingents with upwards of 500 marchers.

Chip raised $128,500 in sponsorships to cover all expenses in full. No state, city, or university funds were used towards the production of this event.
