The Hartford Business Improvement District (HBID) manages Hartford.com with a focus on city destinations, events, and attractions.
The Hartford Business Improvement District (Hartford BID) is a 60-block non-profit 501(c)(3) special services district located in the commercial core of Hartford, Connecticut.
The mission of the Hartford BID is to bring about positive and lasting change by enhancing the economic vitality and quality of life within the District.
Working collectively with the Mayor’s Office, Police Department and Public Works Department, as well as the more than 100 property owners and other organizations within the District, the Hartford BID will accomplish its mission through initiatives that create a safer, cleaner and more attractive environment for employees, residents and visitors to the District.
The programs of the Hartford BID deliver meaningful and measurable supplemental services beyond what is provided by the City of Hartford. These detail-oriented cleaning, public safety, and marketing services help to mitigate many of the real and perceived challenges that face our district on a daily basis.
