The Hartford Business Improvement District is pleased to welcome Rodney Crockett back to the District as the new Hartford BID Operations Manager. Crockett spent two years overseeing the Hartford BID’s on-street clean street program in 2007, and will manage both the cleaning and security teams in his new role.

Crockett is excited to return to Hartford after spending the last several years managing downtown improvement programs in New York City and Bridgeport. He’s a hands-on manager with an engaging personality. He’s looking forward to managing the the BID’s newly-expanded staff of 15 Security and Cleaning Ambassadors, and becoming as well acquainted with the Hartford merchants and property owners as he is with those in Bridgeport. He hopes to apply some of the skills he obtained in the high-energy, fast-paced New York City BIDs to his position here in Hartford. He wants the to build a positive buzz about the Hartford BID’s team of Ambassadors.

Crockett grew up here, played high school and college sports, and thanks to that he has an extensive network of Hartford contacts, a network that is sure to serve him well in his new position. We welcome him back to the city and look forward to great things ahead for our on-street program.
