Family Spirits: Haunted History Tours
Harriet Beecher Stowe had a few otherworldly interests, and her Hartford home may still have some stories to tell. The Stowe Center’s Family Spirits Tours explore 19th-century spiritualism, Stowe’s own séances, and mysterious encounters reported in her historic home. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
Urban League Trunk or Treat 2026
Costumes are optional, but the candy haul is very real at the Urban League of Greater Hartford’s Trunk or Treat. Families can make the rounds of decorated cars and tables while enjoying a DJ, double-dutch, arts and crafts, snacks, fresh produce, prizes, and a costume parade.
