Witchcraft Panic in Colonial Connecticut
During this tour, you’ll hear the stories, gossip, and intrigue of the people connected to the 17th century witchcraft panic in Hartford. You’ll learn about the beliefs and superstitions in colonial society that supported witchcraft accusations. Guided tours are led by Richard Ross III, author of “Before Salem.” Make sure you keep an eye out for black cats and cracks in the sidewalk and women giving the side eye– that definitely means they’re witches.
