Touki Bouki
Celebrate April in Paris 2024 at Cinestudio. This year’s theme is Histoires d’histoire: Conséquences de la colonisation, films that explore the consequences of French colonization around the world. Touki Bouki (1973) is a Senegalese drama in which Mory, a cowherd, and Anta, a university student, try to make money in order to go to Paris and leave their boring past behind.
