The Wedding March
Celebrate April in Paris 2024 at Cinestudio. This year’s theme is Histoires d’histoire: Conséquences de la colonisation, films that explore the consequences of French colonization around the world. Starting off the series is The Wedding March (1928) in which a young impoverished aristocrat falls in love with an inn-keepers daughter, but has to marry money, so a struggle between love and duty to family ensues.
