Stowe Prize Free Public Event
With great excitement, The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center announces the Free Public Event celebrating Dr. Ruha Benjamin and her 2023 Stowe Prize winning book, Viral Justice: How We Grow the World We Want (Princeton University Press, 2022).
Event Details
2:00-5:00pm on the Stowe Center Lawn for games and activities before the Stowe Prize Free Public Event.
5:00-6:00pm Justice Fair
6:00-8:00pm Stowe Prize Program
* There will be a break at 7:30p to accommodate those observing Shabbat
JUSTICE FAIR
The Justice Fair will have representatives from, and information for, local organizations engaged in a broad spectrum of social justice work. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and learn how to get involved in creating a more just and vibrant community. The Justice Fair will be held at the Stowe Prize Public Program, September 22nd from 5:00-6:00 at the Immanuel Congregational Church. This event is free and open to all; a presentation and discussion with Stowe Prize winner, Dr. Ruha Benjamin, will follow.
