Salons at Stowe: Literary Criticism Locked Up
This Salon will discuss the value, purpose, and restriction of literary activism and literacy in incarceration institutions, including the censoring of topics in the name of safety, book bans, and how incarcerated people have limited outlets for telling their stories, writing about their experiences, and advocating for justice.
