Ofrenda Installation
Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is a vibrant Mexican tradition with roots reaching back to pre-Hispanic times, in which the Aztecs honored their deceased with rituals during the harvest season. Central to this celebration is the creation of an ofrenda, or altar, which families build using a blend of cultural customs, religious symbols, and meaningful objects. For a limited time, the Connecticut Science Center will feature a breathtaking Ofrenda, curated by their dedicated staff.
