Avery 90 Gallery Talk: Art & Dance
Since the 1930s, the Wadsworth has presented dance as an important art form alongside the visual arts. Choreographer Emily Coates and museum educator Adam Lenz explore artworks on view from the museum’s collection connected to important figures in the Wadsworth’s dance history including George Balanchine, Lincoln Kirstein, Martha Graham, and Frederick Ashton.
