Colt Park was originally the private grounds of Samuel and Elizabeth Colt, with 106-acres once featuring exotic deer, peacocks, and greenhouses growing actual pineapples. Today, you’re more likely to spot a high-stakes kickball game or fans cheering on the Hartford Athletic at Trinity Health Stadium. It’s the only place in town where you can ponder the industrial revolution under a giant blue onion dome while simultaneously getting your cardio in on the fitness trails.
