Second Annual 29th & 30th Connecticut Colored Regiment Memorial Walk
Walk in the footsteps of history through downtown Hartford as the Alex Breanne Corporation and Connecticut’s Old State House commemorate the 161st anniversary of the return of Connecticut’s 29th and 30th Colored Regiments from the Civil War. This memorial walk honors the soldiers’ service and legacy, with a 5K route retracing their historic homecoming and a shorter one-mile option.
