2026 Stowe Symposium: Stowe in Context and Conversation
Harriet Beecher Stowe takes center stage in a day-long exploration of 19th-century literature and history presented by the Stowe Center for Literary Activism and Trinity College. Featuring keynote speaker Tiya Miles, author of All That She Carried: The Journey of Ashley’s Sack, a Black Family Keepsake, the program invites a deeper look at storytelling, memory, and the historical threads that still shape the present.
