The Hopgood/Lord Summer Music Series – The Lost Tribe
Enjoy free live music in Bushnell Park Wednesdays in June and August as part of the Hopgood/Lord Summer Music Series. Performing this week, The Lost Tribe is a drum-centered Afro-funk fusion ensemble, led by multi-percussionist Jocelyn Pleasant. As a traditional percussionist and drum kit player, Pleasant started the group with the goal of blending djembe music into African Diasporic genres like jazz, rock, funk, blues, and reggae.
