Children’s Day: Trees Matter
Trees Matter!
JDPP teaching artist Suzi Jensen will present a story reading of Lida Judge’s book The Wisdom of Trees, followed by three simultaneous arts workshops about trees culminating in a small sharing among the groups. JDPP teaching artists are Suzi Jensen, Debra Walsh and Meghan McDermott. The workshops will be located in a beautiful tree filled area of Colt Park for Children’s Day with a rain date of June 25. Bouncy House will be available near playscape. HPL will provide some copies of the book.
The proposed schedule:
· 11 to 11:30 Reading of The Wisdom of Trees
· 11:30 to 12:30 workshops in movement and art
· 12:30 to 1 Sharing of work among groups
