Black Girl
Celebrate April in Paris 2024 at Cinestudio. This year’s theme is Histoires d’histoire: Conséquences de la colonisation, films that explore the consequences of French colonization around the world. Black Girl (1966) is the story of a young Senegalese woman who moves to Francce and becomes a maid for a French couple but is constantly mistreated and made aware of her race.
