Doobie Powell Birthday Shed

Introducing H.”Doobie” Powell, III… a Gospel Recording Artist, Producer, Singer, Songwriter, Composer and multi-faceted Musician, fueled and persuaded by his passionate devotion to his faith.

Most recently, he has collaborated with Harry Connick, Jr. on a song dedicated to the Sandy Hook victims. Doobie’s gift was featured as an artist and musician in the movie “Black Nativity” (a contemporary adaptation of Langston Hughes’ celebrated in 2013). Doobie worked very closely with the movie’s Executive Music Producer Raphael Saadiq and Associate Music Producer Taura Stinson.

H. Doobie Powell III also currently serves as the Minister of Music at the Latter Rain Christian Fellowship, Hartford, CT.
