Dance in the Parks

The Sonia Plumb Dance Company will inspire you to move this summer with its Dance in the Parks series. Each one begins with a family-friendly dance class at 5:00 pm, followed by a professional dance performance at 6:30 pm. Each program will include modern dance repertory and a sneak peek at Curving Into the Light, a Sonia Plumb Dance Company work-in-progress about coming out of isolation, in collaboration with Cuatro Puntos.

This performance is in Pope Park, near the basketball court. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or chairs, and join the fun

Classes are open to all levels of dance ability. All dates and locations are subject to change. For the most up-to-date information, visit the event website. The rain date for any canceled performance will be Thursday August 19, 2021.
