ConnectiCon is the largest pop culture event in New England, dedicated to comics, gaming, anime, board games, science fiction, fantasy and LARPing. It’s over 7,000 hours of programming over just 3 days.
COSTUMES ARE TOTALLY ENCOURAGED – Some past costumed attendees were inspired by Harry Potter, Donnie Darko, Edward Scissorhands, Cirque du Soleil, Star Wars, Willy Wonka, Mario Brothers, Van Helsing, the Legend of Zelda, Jack Sparrow, and countless elves, wizards, anime and gaming characters – some popular and some created from the extremely vivid imaginations of the attendees.
When it comes right down to it – any event with a weapons and costume policy automatically rules. Leave your live steel at home (that’s swords, knives or bayonets to the newbies). Feel free to bring your wooden staffs, your walking sticks, and by all means, grab your bokken.
