A Response and a Call: Looking Back and Looking Forward
Begun in 2020 after George Floyd’s murder and the protests that followed, ‘A Response and a Call’ is a platform for JDPP’s BIPOC artists and guests, including returned citizens, to use their personal experience to authentically address racism, diversity, and inclusion and affirm hope and resilience as we work toward justice.
In this performance, host Mellissa Craig reflects on the first three ‘A Response and a Call’ events, sharing featured excerpts from those performances and setting the stage for what’s coming up in 2021-22.
This performance is free of charge, but advance registration is required. All donations will support upcoming ‘A Response and a Call’ events.
