A Dancer’s Guide to Injury Prevention
For this workshop you will be covering common dance injuries, proper body alignment in dance and how that relates to injuries, flexibility versus stability in dance, cross training and strengthening for injury prevention, and knowing when to seek help or advice from a medical professional. You will be intertwining some interactive pieces and sending you home with some go to exercises to prevent injuries across the whole body as a dancer.
