As Connecticut’s Old State House continues commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Constitution of 1818, join Wesley Horton, President of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Supreme Court Historial Society, for his April 17th talk The Debates at the 1818 Constitutional Convention. Horton will discuss the speeches made on major issues at the Convention, explore the role of newspapers that reported on the historic debates, and review the Constitution’s articles and their status today.
