Natalie Spears is an upright bassist, banjo player, and singer from Carbondale, Colorado. She performs heavily throughout Western Colorado and has shared the stage with seasoned musicians such as Leftover Salmon, Red Molly, and Martha Scanlan.
Peter Winne is a guitarist, singer, and clog dancer from Hartford. After cutting his teeth in Connecticut bar bands in the early 2000s he left the state to play bluegrass music full time. Fourteen years later he washed up back on the banks of the Connecticut River; he currently works as the head gardener at Elizabeth Park.
Together, Spears and Winne play a mixture of bluegrass and folk that leans heavily on guy-gal harmony singing and showcases Winne’s step-dancing to the infectious rhythms of Spears’ old-time banjo picking.
