“Why the Constitution of 1818 Matters Today” with Judges Henry Cohn and Jon Blue explores the origin of the 1818 Constitution, its Declaration of Rights, and its sections on religion and education. The speakers will also discuss the impact of the 1818 Constitution on current law, including the 1965 Constitution.

This program begins at noon and is free to attend thanks to the support of Connecticut Humanities and Connecticut Explored, the magazine of Connecticut’s history. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
