Chion Wolf’s Advice Show is at Sea Tea Improv’s underground comedy theater for curious people with a sense of humor.
Write down something you’d like advice about anonymously, put it in the big box, and then host Chion Wolf (WNPR, The Mouth at The Mark Twain House & Museum, the Hartford Hot Several, Night Fall) will help you figure it all out with her panel of unqualified yet enthusiastic, thoughtful humans. For every segment, a new audience volunteer is chosen! At the end of the night, Chion reads your confessions.
Very mature children are invited, and immature adults appreciated. Profanity likely.
The audio of each show will be recorded live and released later as a podcast, so if you don’t want your snorting laughter or gasps of realizations broadcast to the whole world, you’d better bring your effective muffling techniques.
*Disclaimer: This is not professional advice! These are people discussing all sorts of issues, telling stories, and exploring philosophical conundrums.
If you’re struggling in this chaotic, cruel, funny, absurd, amazing world, and you need someone to talk to, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255.
What’s cool is that you don’t have to be suicidal to call them. You don’t need to be at your lowest point to find help. You are NOT alone, and you’re always welcome at Sea Tea.
