Read It & Sleep
Come join the fun with Two Right Feet’s new, whimsical educational program about the wonders of the woodlands. Two Right Feet’s WOODS & WOULDN’TS program includes:
• “Turkey Little” a literacy and math rhyme, mime, and sign song about a turkey and six little acorns whose name begins with a vowel. Each acorn, whether Ivy or Yves… Ulrich or Oliver, falls off the oak tree bouncing off of poor “Turkey Little’s” feathery head. Ouch.
• A rhythmical, dramatic reading of the humorous children’s book There’s a Bear on my Chair by Ross Collins starring two woodland critters: an outraged mouse and a trespassing (yet benign) bear.
• Our problem solving, team-building guessing game “Leaf Hunt” involves solving clues to the question: Do squirrels have antlers?
• The program concludes with a creative dance routine starring a smartly dressed woodland mouse.
NOTE: As always, all of Two Left Feet’s sessions include literacy and school readiness activities based off of the CCSS in ELA. These highly interactive programs feature live music, dance, an introduction to basic sign language, dramatic storytelling, and percussion instrument band games.
We look forward to seeing you for Two Right Feet’s Virtual Zoom Woodland Event!
