GO HARTFORD!

HOOKER DAY PARADE HISTORY
“Mayor Mike” Peters first organized the Hooker Day Parade in 1991 to bring some excitement  to Downtown Hartford. The parade grew over the following 10 years from a small, extremely  goofy procession with more marchers than watchers, to a significant and highly anticipated event in the city of Hartford.

The Hooker Day Parade went on hiatus in 2001, but was always in the hearts and memories of anyone who participated.  The Hartford Business Improvement District brought the Parade back in 2008 to rave reviews.

This year we honor the memory of Mike Peters and dedicate the parade to him.  He will forever be our Grand Marshall.
